The Institute of South-South Cooperation and Development is an initiative of President Xi Jinping, announced in September 2015 at the UN's 70th anniversary in New York, as a platform for sharing experiencing among developing countries and providing training to their elites. The validity of a theory and an experience depends on the fulfillment of the theory’s and experience’s preconditions. The preconditions of developing countries are more similar among them than between developing countries and developed countries. The sharing of experiences among developing countries and learning from theories generated in developing countries are helpful for elites from developing countries to realize their aspiration of their motherlands’ industrialization and modernization to achieve poverty elimination and inclusive and sustainable prosperity. The above goals are exactly the mission of the Institute of South-South Cooperation and Development. Let’s join hands and work hard for the realization of our common dream!
