HUANG Zhuo is Deputy Dean, Professor of Economics and Fashu Endowed Scholar of the National School of Development at Peking University, Deputy Dean of the Institute of South-South Cooperation and Development at Peking University, Dean of BiMBA Business School at the National School of Development, Deputy Director of the Institute of Digital Finance at Peking University, and Deputy Dean of the Changsha Institute of Computing and Digital Economy at Peking University.  His research interests include financial econometrics, derivatives pricing and digital finance. He has published papers in peer-reviewed econometrics and finance journals, including Journal of Econometrics, Journal of Applied Econometrics, Journal of Business & Economic Statistics, Journal of Financial Econometrics, Journal of Empirical Finance, and Journal of Futures Markets. So far, his papers have received 2,035 citations on Google Scholar. He has won the Richard Stone Best Paper Prize at the Journal of Applied Econometrics for the years of 2012-2013 and the second prize at the 7th Chinese Colleges and Universities Outstanding Research Achievements for 2011–2013. He got Outstanding Teaching Award at Peking University (only 6 award winners per year) in 2020. 

Prof. Huang currently serves as Co-editor of China Economic Quarterly International, Department Editor of China Finance Review International, Associate Editor of China Economic Quarterly 《经济学(季刊》, Editorial Board Member of Annals of Economics and Finance. He served as Guest Co-editor of special issues of Pacific Basin Finance Journal and China Economic Review. He also currently serves as an invited scholar of the China Finance 40 Forum, the founding secretary general of the Open Research Initiative on Digital Economy, and was elected as a delegate to the 7th Faculty & Staff Congress at Peking University in 2019. 

Prof. Huang obtained his PhD in Economics from Stanford University in 2011. He received his B.A. of Economics, B.S. of Mathematics and Master of Finance from Wuhan University.
