LEI Xiaoyan is Peking University Boya Chair Professor, Professor of Economics at the National School of Development at Peking University, and MOE Cheung-Kong Scholar Chair Professor of Economics. She is also Director of the Center for Healthy Aging and Development at Peking University, Deputy Director of MOE-PKU Center for Human Capital and National Policy,  and Co-Editor of Journal of Economics of Aging. Her research areas include labor economics, health economics, economics of aging, applied econometrics. Prof. Lei holds a PhD in Economics from University of California.
