SHEN Yan is Professor of Economics and Deputy Director of Center for Human Capital and Policy at the National School of Development at Peking University. She is a member of Econometric Society and American Economic Association. Her major research areas are econometrics and microfinance. She received her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Southern California.
