YAO Yang, Chair Professor of Economics and Dean of NSD at Peking University, is Executive Dean of ISSCAD and Director of China Center for Economic Research. His research interests are economic development and institutional changes in China. He is the author of Ownership Transformation in China and Globalization and Economic Growth in China. He received his PhD in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
