All the students of ISSCAD are elites in their own countries and share a common aspiration of bringing prosperity to their motherlands. The experiences of New China’s development in the past 70 years is a vivid demonstration of Keynes’ famous quotation: “It is ideas, not vested interests, which are dangerous for good or evil”.  When the world is entering the third decade of the 21st century, new challenges and opportunities are arising in the horizon. I wish the hard working in the new year will equip ISSCAD students with the ideas of capturing opportunities and overcoming challenges for achieving inclusive and sustainable development in their countries.
